Mar. 2017: Stefan Pabst and I are proud to announce the birth of our son, Alexander Friedrich Pabst, on March 3, 2017.

Dec. 2016: My latest paper, "Dynamical decoherence of the light induced interlayer coupling in YBa2Cu3O6+δ" has been published in Phys. Rev. B.
Oct. 2016: Thank you to the Materials Science and Engineering Department for a wonderful visit to Northwestern and for inviting me to give the MSE Colloquium on 10/4.

2015
Oct. 2015: I've started my position as a Miller Research Fellow at UC Berkeley. I'm excited to be working in the group of Alessandra Lanzara.
Apr. 2015: I'm a doctor! Thank you to my advisors Laura Greene and Andrea Cavalleri, my committee, and everyone who attended my defense on April 2nd.
Feb. 2015: My most recent paper, "Two distinct kinetic regimes for the relaxation of light-induced superconductivity in La1.675Eu0.2Sr0.125CuO4" has been published in Phys. Rev. B as a Rapid Communication. It has been selected as an Editor's Suggestion.
2014
Dec. 2014: I feel very fortunate to announce I have been awarded a 2015 Miller Postdoctoral Fellowship to UC Berkeley.
May, June 2014: Thank you to everyone who shared in celebrating our marriage! Especially friends and family who travelled from all over the country (the world!) to be there with us. Photos are online!
Mar. 2014: I am excited to announce I have been awarded a 2014 Scott Anderson Outstanding Graduate Assistant Award by the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
